Customised Employment

May 29 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm AWST

Customised Employment connects a job candidate’s interests and contributions with business needs, opening the door to good employment for many people previously considered unemployable, as well as those whose employment options are limited by labour market job openings.
Touring international presenter, Milton Tyree, is visiting WA for the first time from the United States.

Milton Tyree has decades of experience in the area of disability employment and has worked towards advancing supported and customised employment for more than 25 years. Milton is a Project Associate for the University of Kentucky. He uses the principles of SRV (Social Role Valorisation) as a foundation for his work.

The content in this workshop will be grounded in SRV theory and derived from Marc Gold & Associates concepts of Discovery, Customised Job Development and Systematic Instruction. This customised employment learning opportunity will equip individuals with practical skills and knowledge to assist in providing bright employment futures.

This workshop would be beneficial to family members, service providers, policy makers, educators and advocates of people with disability.
